When the trip you want
is underwater.

Custom dive vacations, liveaboard expeditions, and certification trips across Latin America: planned by divers.

Why we built it

Diving deserved its own brand.

Dive the Americas deserved its own brand — not because the trips are completely different, but because the details are. Divers travel differently. They care about tank schedules, water conditions, liveaboard seasons, trusted dive operators, and where to get certified without feeling rushed. After years of planning dive travel across Latin America, we realized those conversations deserved their own dedicated space.

So we built Dive the Americas: a custom dive travel agency focused entirely on experiences underwater. From liveaboards in Cocos Island to cenote diving in the Yucatán Peninsula and beginner-friendly certification trips in Belize, everything is built around the diving experience. Like Explore the Americas, every itinerary is custom, locally informed, and planned by a real human.

Where we dive

Two ways to go down. Endless ways to experience Latin America underwater.

Land-based trips for travelers who want to balance diving with everything else a destination has to offer. Liveaboards for the divers who want to wake up already at the next site, then the next, then the next.

Want to combine land + liveaboard in a single trip? We do that often →

When to go

Marine life, by month.

The encounters most divers travel for follow seasons. This is when we'd put you in the water, by species: peak windows in lime, good months in muted lime, possible in sky.

What we plan

Three kinds of dive trips. All custom.

Whether it's your first open-water certification or your tenth liveaboard, the planning model is the same: start from scratch, build it around you.

01 Custom vacations

Day-by-day, built around you.

Hand-selected hotels and dive operators, days planned around conditions and your certification level, and off-water experiences for non-diving partners. Pacing built around how much you actually want to dive, not a fixed catalog.

  • Vetted local dive operators in every country
  • Tank counts paced to your fitness and certification
  • Off-water days planned for partners and family
02 Liveaboards

Sleep on the boat. Dive everywhere.

We book the right vessel for the right destination, and handle the pre- and post-boarding logistics that trip up first-time liveaboard clients. Cocos, Galápagos, Socorro, and a few smaller routes when the season lines up.

  • Vessel-by-vessel matching to your trip style
  • Pre-/post-boarding hotel + airport logistics
  • Insurance, gear rental, surface-interval planning
03 Certification

Come home a diver.

Open-water certification trips at dive centers we trust with first-timers, paced for travelers, not as a checklist. E-learning before you go, pool sessions on day one, open water by midweek.

  • PADI / SSI Open Water in 4–5 days
  • Beginner-friendly Caribbean and Pacific sites
  • Non-diver partner activities built in
Never dived before?

Five days. One certification.
The rest of your life underwater.

A typical Open Water certification trip with us, built to feel like a vacation, not a checklist. Most travelers who try this leave wanting their next dive trip.
